Nextbit’s values, company culture and a fair work-life balance are a fundamental part of its identity, and become every day more crucial to the professional development not only of the individual, but also of the team. These values are also key to the constant and sustainable growth of the business, as well as the network of clients and partners we all belong to.

Each fellow worker and associate – independently of role, task, and seniority – has rights as well as duties. Only when those rights and duties are balanced, every individual can armoniously cooperate, and is able to fulfill all the tasks needed to meet their objectives and expectations.

Accordingly, Nextbit’s essential values are the following:

Self-discipline

Everyone working in Nextbit is responsible for autonomously managing their assigned tasks, and the deadlines agreed to with colleagues or clients. Self-discipline is necessary, as we do not want to neither institute nor be part of an authoritarian, strongly-hierarchical company. In our flat organization, each person’s decisions and conduct are impactful.

Trust

Trust is a key element in order to build and grow a network made of teams, partners, and clients, all operating together. The size of a cooperation network is highly important, as it influences its level of innovation and complexity, both short-term and long-term. The network cooperates effectively when trust between its members is maintained, and when each decision is the best for everyone.

Respect and Collaboration

Respect is another fundamental value, starting from self-respect. A pleasant atmosphere is essential for successful business projects.

“Everyone’s job is important, but no one is indispensable”: we must respect each colleague’s activities, attitudes and skills. Everybody can learn from everybody else: true cooperation is born from listening.

Curiosity

Curiosity is often the difference between a well-made job and an exceptional job. Here at Nextbit, curiosity is an important and distinctive characteristic, allowing everyone to make proposals, innovate, and improve. Curiosity pushes us all to grow, while feeling less the effect of the required sacrifices.

Determination and Quiet Confidence

Determination helps us reaching our objectives, and making our vision into a concrete reality. Each new initiative, having never been tried before, carries a risk. Evaluating the risk correctly, and then working with determination to reach the goal, is a critical duty for everyone. Throughout the years, we have learned that obstacles and difficulties are often temporary.

High-quality Work

All the values above result in high-quality work, in two senses:

  • Quality perceived by the employee working inside the company;

  • Quality of the job done, perceived by clients.
